![]() (Java Runtime also had to be downloaded since my generation of Macbook Pro -late 2011 - doesn't come with it and it's needed for Adobe. And then there was a problem installing Reader it took several hours with AppleCare to do it, finally, through a site called Adobe Reader Distribution. ![]() Actually, I downloaded the trial version of Pro a couple of weeks ago, used it very briefly, only to watch it go haywire, compressing and distorting text. ![]() Acrobat has more advanced text editing tools than Reader, so I'd like to have it. I'm using MS Word (Office) for Mac 2011 and Adobe Reader XI for editing.
